全球电动车市场增速放缓，8月同比仅增15%
市场研究机构Rho Motion最新数据显示，2025年8月全球纯电动汽车与插电式混合动力汽车销量同比增长15%，达到170万辆，增速创下年内最低水平。这一放缓趋势反映出在高基数效应下的增长压力。
其中，中国市场依旧占据全球电动车销量的一半以上，但其增速明显下滑。数据显示，今年上半年中国电动车月均增速为36%，而8月仅为6%，创下七个月新低，总销量约110万辆。全球最大电动车制造商比亚迪已将2025年全球销量目标下调16%。不过，随着补贴资金逐步落实以及传统季节性需求回升，业内预计中国第四季度仍有望维持强劲表现。
但与此同时，美国和欧洲市场的增长在一定程度上抵消了中国市场的疲软。美国因联邦税收抵免政策即将到期，带动需求飙升；欧洲则依托加速脱碳的激励措施，保持高位增长。数据显示，欧洲市场8月电动车销量同比大增48%，达283,453辆；北美增长13%，至201,255辆；其他地区同比激增56%，突破144,280辆。
Rho Motion数据经理Charles Lester表示，美国市场8月销量创下历史新高，9月有望再度破纪录，但随后或面临较大回落。他同时指出，虽然比亚迪仍保持领先地位，但来自国内外竞争对手的压力正在加剧。
Market research firm Rho Motion revealed that global sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) reached 1.7 million units in August 2025, up 15% year-on-year. This marks the slowest growth rate of the year, reflecting mounting pressure from a high comparison base.
China, which accounts for more than half of global EV sales, saw a sharp slowdown. While monthly growth averaged 36% in the first half of the year, it fell to just 6% in August — the lowest in seven months, with 1.1 million units sold. BYD, the world’s largest EV maker, has already revised down its 2025 global sales target by 16%. Nevertheless, with new subsidies taking effect and seasonal demand expected to rebound, China’s EV sales may regain momentum in Q4.
At the same time, robust demand in the United States and Europe offset China’s slowdown. U.S. sales surged due to the pending expiry of federal tax credits, while Europe maintained strong momentum thanks to decarbonization incentives. Data shows EV sales in Europe rose 48% to 283,453 units, North America grew 13% to 201,255 units, and other regions jumped 56% to over 144,280 units.
Charles Lester, Data Manager at Rho Motion, noted that U.S. EV sales hit a record high in August and could break another record in September before potentially declining sharply. He added that although BYD retains its leadership, competitive pressures from other automakers are increasingly evident.
