China’s Used Car Exports Surpass 400,000 Units, Enter New Growth Phase

中国二手车出口突破40万辆,迈入增长新阶段

中国汽车流通协会数据显示,2024年出口量突破40万辆,销往超过160个国家和地区,已成为推动汽车消费和产业升级的新兴力量。协会副会长罗磊认为,超过4亿辆的汽车保有量、成熟的供应链体系以及高性价比车型,使中国在二手车出口领域具备独特优势。

广东作为汽车保有量最大的省份之一,出口也在加速。今年前7个月已完成4.6万辆二手车出口,超过去年全年总量。当地通过政策支持和服务优化推动出口再上台阶。

随着全球汽车流通体系的加速变化,企业也在调整战略。神州租车CEO高德武在谈及行业前景时表示,可靠的车源是生态的基石,透明的信息是信任的桥梁,未来的竞争不仅在于卖车,更在于输出完整的生态。

全球汽车需求正在从发达国家加速转向新兴市场。中国自主品牌在俄罗斯、中亚、中东和东盟表现活跃,其中新能源汽车在部分新兴市场的占比已超过50%。尽管仍面临欧盟壁垒等挑战,但在本地化生产和服务不断完善的支撑下,中国二手车出口的长期前景依然广阔。

Data from the China Automobile Dealers Association show that export volumes surpassed 400,000 units in 2024, reaching more than 160 countries and regions, and establishing the sector as a new driver of automotive consumption and industrial upgrading. Luo Lei, Vice President of CADA, noted that China’s scale of more than 400 million vehicles, together with a mature supply chain and cost-effective models, gives the country a strong foundation in overseas markets.

Guangdong Province, China’s largest vehicle market, is also accelerating. The province exported 46,000 used vehicles in the first seven months of 2025, already exceeding the full-year total for 2024.

The shift in the global automotive circulation system is also prompting companies to refine their strategies. CAR Inc. CEO Gao Dewu highlighted that reliable vehicle supply forms the basis of the ecosystem, while transparent information builds trust. In his view, the next phase of exports will be less about selling vehicles and more about delivering an ecosystem.

Global demand growth is shifting rapidly from developed economies to emerging markets. Chinese brands are performing strongly in Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and ASEAN, with new energy vehicles already accounting for over 50% of sales in some emerging regions. While challenges such as EU trade barriers remain, Xu emphasized that with local production and service capacity improving, the long-term outlook for China’s used car exports remains highly promising.
